Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that align with the scope of the Sustainability and Community Development Journal (SCDJ). The journal accepts two types of articles: (1) Research Articles and (2) Community Development Documentation.

All submissions must be written in English and follow the official SCDJ article template. Manuscripts should demonstrate both methodological rigour and relevance to community development practice. Authors are required to clearly articulate the development implications of their work, including how findings inform program design, policy, or intervention frameworks.

Submissions must adhere to the following requirements:

• Use APA 7th Edition for all citations and references
• Include a structured abstract
• Provide a clear context of community or development setting
• Include ethical statements, funding information, and conflict of interest declaration
• Ensure originality and pass plagiarism screening (maximum similarity 25%)

All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors are strongly encouraged to consult the official template and submission checklist before submitting their manuscripts.
