About the Journal

Sustainability and Community Development Journal (SCDJ) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the science and practice of community development. Published by Green Living Support E-ISSN: XXXX-XXXX, SCDJ occupies a distinctive position at the intersection of academic inquiry and development action: it is a journal committed equally to scientific rigour and practical relevance, and to the conviction that neither is sufficient without the other. SCDJ welcomes contributions from researchers, development practitioners, non-governmental organisations, donor agencies, corporate social responsibility (CSR) bodies, government institutions, and civil society organisations. It serves as a shared intellectual space in which evidence-based research and field-grounded practice mutually inform and strengthen one another — advancing community development that is theoretically sound, systematically designed, and built for lasting impact. All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review and evaluated against the publication ethics standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
